Cancellation Policy

These Terms & Conditions apply to all wedding performance bookings made with Suraj Nagaraj ("we", "us", "our"), trading as nagarajmusic.com and Rosemont Strings. By paying the deposit, the person or persons making the booking ("you", "the Client") agree to be bound by these terms. 1. PERFORMANCE PACKAGES THE WALK — Solo violin performance for your bridal walk into the ceremony. Any song can be requested. Max booking duration: 30 minutes. RECEPTION SPOTLIGHT — A spotlight violin performance for one reception moment: entrance, first dance, cake cutting, or feature performance. Max booking duration: 1 hour. FULL CEREMONY — Live solo violin music for the entire ceremony, from the Baraat to the exit. Max booking duration: 3 hours. FULL CEREMONY + CANAPÉS — Live solo violin for the entire ceremony, plus canapés while guests mingle. Max booking duration: 4 hours. FULL RECEPTION + DJ — Live solo violin for all special reception moments, with a DJ to continue entertainment for the night. Max booking duration: full night. COMPLETE — Everything above, combined. Max booking duration: full day. "Booking Duration" means the period of time between the start of live music and the end of live music for the package booked. It does not include arrival, setup, or pack-down time. 2. ARRIVAL & PACK-DOWN We arrive 30 to 45 minutes prior to the agreed booking start time to set up, and remain on-site for a further 10 to 30 minutes after the booking ends to pack down. This time is in addition to, and separate from, the Booking Duration. 3. DEPOSIT & PAYMENT A deposit of $500 (AUD) is required to confirm any booking. - The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled within 7 days of the deposit being paid. - Once 7 days have passed since the deposit was paid, the deposit becomes non-refundable, regardless of how far in advance of the event the booking is later cancelled. The remaining balance of the package price is due in full no later than 1 month (30 days) before the booking date. If the remaining balance is not received by this deadline, we reserve the right to refuse to perform at the event. In this circumstance, the booking is treated as cancelled by the Client, the $500 deposit is forfeited, and no further amount is owed by either party.
